Ardeshir is more than just a soft drinks and soda water manufacturer. It is a piece of Pune’s rich history and continues to flavour the sweetest, most enjoyable moments of its population. A family business since 1884, it caters to many palates, from traditional sweet colas to modern day zingy masala flavours. The purity of flavours, the simple, delicious taste and the quality of Ardy’s drinks is the reason why Pune still chooses Ardy’s for their special occasions or just to indulge in the innocent fun of days gone by.Currently headed by Marzban Irani, the great-grandson of Ardeshir Irani, it now has water and ice manufacturing added to its original umbrella of flavoured sodas. The original plain soda water that accompanied the British style whisky pegs still remains, as do the thick factory walls that support a fourth generation of employees and glass bottles which still have a pride of place in the Ardeshir’s Bottling Plant. While modernisation has enhanced the original dream of Ardeshir Irani, the original heart and soul of flavours that are purely created for the drinker’s pleasure have not changed - a wonderfully reassuring thought in an ever-changing world.
